Program Highlights

  • Intensive, structured laboratory-based research experience
  • 10-week didactic lunch lecture series delivered simultaneously to all sites via live videoconference
  • Half-day rotations on medical, surgical, pediatric and radiation oncology services
  • A two-day joint conference in Washington, DC that is focused on cancer-related advocacy and policy
  • Weekly journal club
  • Stipend of $2,500
  • End of program symposium

Students accepted into the program will report to various locations within the university.

Housing

The Program will not provide student housing as students who are present in the summer are expected to have housing arrangements already made.
